Celebrate the warmth and tradition found in Baba’s kitchen with this hand-burned cooking sign. Featuring bold English lettering, kitchen utensils and decorative floral details, it is a thoughtful Ukrainian grandmother gift for the Baba who brings everyone together through food and family.

The artwork is hand-burned into 8 x 10 inch birch wood, then the wood is stained and framed in black MDF. Finished size is approximately 9 x 11 inches. A built-in easel back allows the sign to stand, while a sawtooth hanger makes wall display easy.

Every piece of birch wood has its own natural grain, colour and character, so no two signs will ever be exactly alike. The stain is absorbed differently by each piece of wood, creating subtle variations in tone and grain. Combined with hand-burning, these natural differences make every sign unique.
