Bring some rink-side humour to a young hockey player’s room with this wood-burned sign. Featuring the saying “Born to Play Hockey, Forced to Go to School,” it captures the feelings of every student who would rather be holding a hockey stick than doing homework.
The artwork is hand-burned into 8 x 10 inch birch wood, then the wood is stained and placed in a black wood frame. The finished sign measures approximately 9 x 11 inches and includes a sawtooth hanger. It makes a fun gift for a bedroom, games room or hockey-themed space.
Every piece of birch wood has its own natural grain, colour and character, so no two signs will ever be exactly alike. The stain is absorbed differently by each piece of wood, creating subtle variations in tone and grain. These natural differences make every school gift truly one of a kind.
