The 5 x 7 inch birch artwork is hand-burned and honey stained, then raised approximately 1/4 inch above an 8 x 10 inch natural oak base to create added depth and dimension. The finished piece is set in a rich brown MDF wood frame, approximately 9 x 11 inches overall, with a built-in easel back for standing and hanging hardware for wall display.
 
Every piece of birch wood has its own natural grain, colour and character, so no two signs will ever be exactly alike. The stain is absorbed differently by each piece of wood, creating subtle variations in tone and grain.
